Our Goal
At BrwEnvi our purpose is to strive for the best of the breed at every opportunity. All our dogs are health tested and checked annually as the health of the breed comes first every time. We pick our mating's with care and consideration so that all our puppies are to the breed standard in both confirmation, temperament and health.
Ethical Breeder
Genetically testing every dam and sire that is in the breeding program for any known miniature schnauzer health traits is done before any pairing is made through Orivet. We also have eye testing done annually as well and can show the certificates upon request. This can alter the pairings we choose or even deciding to place the dog in a pet home if they don't meet the requirements. We choose our pet homes very carefully for these guys as they have become a part of the BrwEnvi family.
They are fed a broad range in their diets along with supplements, so these dogs are always at their best for reproducing when the time comes. Having a family vet on call 24/7 also makes this a priority, Alice Murray from Garden City Vet Care has been many years with us now, the whole team there is amazing.
Confirmation Showing
Having started showing this breed a few short years ago now I fell in love with the sport very quickly. The time and effort put into grooming this breed is not a small commitment, I find it offers me extra time to connect and grow trust with any of my show dogs. I'm very much still learning the ins and outs to their coats and trimming furnishings. The connection with the show community makes looking after any breed much easier as the veterans of the sport are always happy to help and offer advice. I do take show puppy enquiries so make sure to ask if it might be something you want to try.
